0148 Polysulfide Adhesive
Designed for areas in contact with aircraft fuel, lubricants
0148 is a grey, one‐component, polysulfide adhesive specifically designed for staking and bonding applications on integral fuel tanks and pressurized cabins. This product can also be used in any area where contact with aircraft fuel, lubricants, oil, water, and weather is common and resistance to those environments is required. 0148 is certified to AMS‐S‐8802, Type 2, Class B‐2 and HMS 16‐1985, Compound IV, Class 2 specifications and can be cured at either room or elevated temperatures. This material will bond well to most substrates such as metals (including aluminum, magnesium, titanium, and steel), glass, ceramics, and most plastics and is offered in very user‐friendly packaging.
