The Process Engineering Lead develops processes, technologies, equipment, and solutions required for capable and sustainable manufacturing operations. The position’s success is measured by production department satisfaction; process capability, repeatability, and stability; successful process and equipment introduction; and efficiency improvement and cost savings.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting production and operations with continuous improvements to improve efficiency, utilization, quality, ergonomics, and employee satisfaction
- Design process solutions to solve problems arising from manufacturing, customer, and supply chain requirements and constraints
- Scale manufacturing processes in premixed frozen, potting and encapsulation, and specialty materials, while improving process capability to meeting tactical and strategic growth and initiative
- Advise and develop technical requirements for equipment preventative maintenance and equipment repair. Train maintenance technicians and production employees to meet the required level of skill to effectively maintain equipment
- Advise and help drive required improvement for the continual refinement of ERP and Database systems
- Support sales and marketing activities to help outline strength and constraints, and help size operational and technical risks associated with new customer applications

Experience and Education:
- 10+ years in a process engineering, development, and introduction role in precision manufacturing, process-intensive environments (Adhesive Compounding, IC packaging, Disk Drives components, Color Print Heads, Photonics, MEMS packaging, medical device components)
- 5+ years in people and/or project management role
- 5+ years of experience in an ISO-9001-certified manufacturing company
- 5+ years Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Access
- Six Sigma, Shainin Statistical Engineering, SPC, DOE, or other analytical training a plus
- Extensive knowledge of ERP, PDM, and Data Analytics and Reporting systems, using them to solve complex problems, answer questions, and continuously improve operations’ quality and performance
- Experience with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles
