Procurement
- Procure all materials to be used in filler fabrication, saving you inventory space and eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming material disposal.
- Manage all vendors and ensure their adherence to your specifications by utilizing our strict incoming inspection procedures.
Material Preparation
- Classify, mill, filter, bake and/or compound-cure your fillers under the strict guidelines of our quality management system.
- Test the resulting filler prior to incorporation into composite adhesives. We are capable of running a wide range of quality verification tests in our modern quality lab. Our testing capabilities include electrical, chemical, physical and acoustical properties.
De-aerating
- Remove micro-voids and trapped air, which can cause cracking as well as changes in the density and properties of a material. We perform de-aeration during mixing for maximum efficiency at pressures as low as 0.5 mmHg.
Mixing
- Perform mixes using mix-scale software that precisely governs mix size, proportions, time of addition, time and pressure of de-aeration and scale sensitivity.
- Utilize 2-D bar-code technology to eliminate data entry errors and maximize efficiency. When the bar code of a material is scanned, the material's identification number, lot number and expiration date are recorded automatically.
- Quality test all mixes as per customer specifications and our own stringent testing protocol prior to packaging.
Freezing
- Flash-freeze material under controlled conditions in order to prevent thermo-shock and cracking. Adherence to a pre-specified freeze cycle ensures an air-free product with maximum pot-life retention.
- Employ an inert freezing medium that will not contaminate the material as do other freezing technologies.
